In the many units to come, we’re going to make sure you’re given all the baseline knowledge you need — the essentials, if you will — to be able to pick up a policy document, understand its purpose, navigate its phrasing, and, very importantly, know what actions it may allow or disallow in and out of your organization.</p>
<p>Not only that, we’re also going to be giving you best practices that will help you avoid the breach of any particular policy. And, we’ll be your helping hand in teaching you how to report a breach!</p>

<p>Often it is found that the most underappreciated part of any workplace is its policies and procedures — agreed to and skimmed through as the “terms and conditions” you see before installing a new software.</p>
<p>We need to change that.</p>
<p>Being part of an organization, it must be understood that in order to successfully work together, we must all be on the same page regarding what we expect from, and what we owe to the organization, and to the people involved with it. There is a complex and impressive array of obligations and responsibilities. But, as with many institutions of collaboration (such as friends, and family), learning them all is well worth the effort.</p>
<p>With this training, our hope is that we can all come to that understanding together, of making sure we know how to amplify the things we get right, and correct that which we sometimes are at risk of getting wrong.</p>
