Just as the 5E Model teaches you to engage your students in class, we want to engage you in this course. The games are designed to test and reinforce key concepts taught in each module. They are a fun way to see how much you’ve absorbed.
Can I take an assessment again if I don’t do well in the first attempt? If I can, which score will be recorded?
Yes, you can take a test again. The score for the latest attempt will be recorded.
Do I have to complete this course in one sitting, or can I log out in between?
You do not have to complete the course in one go. There is a lot of information here, so you should learn at a pace that is comfortable for you. You can pause at any time, and return when it’s convenient for you to resume the course. You may also go back over a completed module to refresh your memory at any time.
I am part of a cohort of teachers taking this course. Will my performance be reported to my supervisor?
That depends upon the agreement decided between your institution and LUMS. Please check with your institution’s management to see what they can or cannot access.
How can I save or share the results of this course with my colleagues or family?
For the time being a functionality to share progress directly from within the platform does not exist. You can however, share screenshots of your progress from the dashboard as well as the final certificate that you will receive after the successful completion of the course.
How do I get the certificate? Do I have to score above a specific percentage in the assessments?
The certificate is a certificate of completion. If you complete all the modules, then the certificate will be available to you at the end of the course. There is no minimum score required to pass the course.
Is the certificate I get at the end of a course equivalent to a degree in education?
No, this is a certificate of completion. The objective of this course is to enhance your skills as a teacher. The certificate holds no equivalency for an academic degree or diploma.
