So regardless of whether you are planning a course in a university, developing a corporate training, or creating a series of workshops, having a well-designed and purposeful plan will help your learners to acquire the skills, knowledge, and values that you want them to gain by the end of the course/ training/ workshop.
Throughout the course, you’ll follow a comprehensive step-by step planning process to design courses with SMART learning outcomes, meaningful assessments and activities, a robust course structure, and technology that will surely engage learners and help them achieve the desired goals.
This is a self-paced online course comprising seven modules. Apart from engaging videos, the instructional material includes learning activities and assessments that will help you iterate on your course design and improve it through peer feedback.
The course is led by Dr. Launa Gauthier and Mr. Talha Dogar from LUMS. The course takes inspiration from Course Design Express by Dr. Lauren Anstey at Queen’s University.
